Watching CNN over the last few days, the (intended) takeaway was one of US failure:

Failure for the US STARTING an unnecessary war with Iran (As if Iran wasn’t an enemy of the United States responsible for killing THOUSANDS of Americans …)

Failure for not resolving our differences at the negotiating table (As if the Mullahs were negotiating in good faith)

Failure for escalating the conflict (As if Iran’s 46 year of activity leading up to this point somehow didn’t amount to any form of “escalation”

I could go on …

I hope and pray you are right, but I am not sure how you can be so confident. As amazing as the bunker busters are, I don't think they can penetrate a half mile underground. Then again, if they hit the access points, that could render the bunkers inaccessible and doom anyone who was in them at the time, either by a direct blast wave or by cutting off their supply of food, water, or air. How can we know even approximately what damage was actually done? I don't think we can bank on public statements by Trump and Netanyahu.
